Updated in Spring 2012, the City Center plan is a 20-year effort to transform the City Center area into a model, mixed-use urban center, blending residential, retail, and other businesses with open space in a pedestrian-friendly environment. - College District

The growth of Edmonds Community College (EdCC) is of greater concern to residents and businesses near the college than to those in other areas of the city. The College District Plan (.pdf) was developed and adopted in 2002 for the college and its surrounding neighborhoods to address these localized issues. The subarea plan integrates the goals, objectives and policies of the City's Comprehensive Plan with the EdCC Campus Master Plan and a combination of other interrelated issues and opportunities.
- Highway 99

In 2008, City Council adopted a series of economic revitalization strategies for the Highway 99 Corridor, extending from 148th Street SW (currently in the City's Municipal Urban Growth Area) to 216th Street SW at the City's southern limits. The City finalized adopted of the plan, zoning regulations, design guidelines, environmental impact statement (EIS) and expanded vision for the Highway 99 corridor in September 2011. The City of Lynnwood Water Comprehensive Plan provides a long-term planning strategy for the City’s water system over the 6- and 20-year planning periods. The objectives of this Plan are to evaluate the performance and adequacy of the existing City of Lynnwood water system, to determine what will be necessary to meet the infrastructure demands for the next 20 years, and to identify compliance issues that may affect operation of the water system. - Wastewater Comprehensive Plan

The Wastewater Comprehensive Plan for the City of Lynnwood addresses the City’s comprehensive planning needs for wastewater collection, transmission, treatment, and disposal for the next 20 years. Development of the Plan has been coordinated with the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Snohomish County planning efforts, the City’s Water System Plan, and City Center Plan.
