          This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the official notification of signal system services needed for the City of Lynnwood Adaptive Signal Control Technology (ASCT) project. The City of Lynnwood (City) is issuing this RFQ to request a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified providers (Vendor) of ASCT to provide equipment, software, installation and integration as described within this document. An SOQ submittal indicates that the Vendor desires to be considered for the needed products and services. An SOQ submittal does not guarantee that the Vendor will be contracted to perform the services.

        The City of Lynnwood is soliciting requests for Statement of Qualifications from consulting firms with expertise related to the project listed herein.  The work to be performed consists of preparing preliminary engineering and PS&E.  Consultant services may also include but are not limited to:  alternative evaluation, development of a preferred alternative, environmental planning/documentation, right of way/easement/permit acquisition services, community involvement, geotechnical engineering, traffic studies, surveying, bid process support, engineering support during construction and other related tasks. Engineering fees may vary subject to detail scope of work to be negotiated with the selected firm(s).The anticipated timeframe for project is 2015-2017, subject to actual needs.
