Police Community Academy

Community Academy CST 2019.jpg

The Lynnwood Police Department created the Community Academy in 1995 to engage the public in discussions about the workings of their police department and expand conversations about law enforcement.  Better informed community members can contribute to a safer community.  Although the Community Academy is not intended to make police officers out of the public, those who attend will learn a great deal more about the Lynnwood Police Department.

Come join us to learn about your Police Department! Simply follow the instructions below to register, you will be given access to a course link once you are successfully enrolled.

Update:

Due to logistical reasons, we are pushing the starting date for this year's Academy to late spring. As soon as we have a set date, we will notify everyone.

Additionally, we are revamping the program format to create more meaningful dialogue between our participants and the Police Department. The class time requirement would likely decrease significantly, and that will help alleviate any scheduling problems for our attendees.
