The Lynnwood Arts Commission
supports universal access to diverse arts to enrich our community’s quality of life and economic vitality by:

  • Advocating for lifelong learning in creativity and the arts
  • Promoting artists and arts opportunities
  • Encouraging openness and inclusion
  • Building community and a sense of place

Read our Cultural Arts Plan.

The Lynnwood Arts Commission is made up of seven volunteer members who serve three-year terms.  Arts Commissioners play an active role in advocating for the cultural arts including the performing, visual and literary arts.

Thanks to the work of past and present Arts Commissioners, the City has built a thriving arts program including: A Public Art CollectionArt Exhibits at City Hall featuring northwest artists, and at the Recreation Center featuring youth artists, summer Shakespeare in the Park at Lynndale Park Amphitheater, and many community partnerships.
