BK Choi - proposal web
LOVE Lynnwood sculpture

The Lynnwood Arts Commission, Lynnwood Parks and Recreation Foundation, Lynnwood Public Facilities District (LPFD), and Lynnwood Convention Center are partners on this exciting project.

The design is created by artist BK Choi, who grew up in Lynnwood. We are excited about this design, because it draws on his Korean American Heritage, and how he feels Lynnwood has been a welcoming city for his family as immigrants.

In the coming months, we'll work on engineering, fabricating and installing the sculpture outside the Convention Center. Project funding comes from the Elizabeth Ruth Wallace Living Trust's 2018 donation to the Parks & Recreation Foundation, and the LPFD. For more information, contact Fred Wong, fwong@lynnwoodwa.gov
