Mitigation hearing by E-Mail

Instead of appearing in court on the date and time scheduled on your notice, you can choose to proceed by submitting your statement by e-mail using this page.  You will not be required to appear in court if you complete this form and e-mail it to the court prior to your scheduled court date.

If your statement is submitted in an untimely manner, you could be listed as a failure to appear, which could result in additional assessments.

The court will review your statement, the photos/video of the incident and the police officer's sworn statement and render a decision.  The infraction will be found committed and a monetary penalty will be determined.  The judge may reduce the penalty depending on the mitigating circumstances.  You will be notified by mail of the judge's decision.

Photo Enforcement infractions are processed as a parking violation.  They are attached to the vehicle in question and not to the registered owner's personal driving record.  Photo enforcement infractions do not qualify for a deferred finding.
