City Expanding Sewer Line Capacity

The City of Lynnwood is expanding its current sewer line capacity to meet future population growth expectations and relieve pressure to the current wastewater system.

The City is adding a new lift station, Lift Station 16, which will be located at 19400 56th Avenue West. The new lift station will connect to an existing flow control structure just west of the 68th Avenue West and 204th Street Southwest intersection. Work on the project is currently scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27, 2015 with completion targeted in May 2016.

Traffic flow will be carefully managed throughout the project to minimize any impact to motorists. Trane, a leading design-build contractor as well as global provider of indoor comfort systems and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will manage the project.
