City Launches Redesigned Website

Welcome to the new and improved website for the City of Lynnwood.

The website software and servers that previously supported the City's website was over 10 years old. The last major redesign of the City's website took place in 2001. In the Fall of 2011, a branding team worked on applying the city brand to a proposed site design. On June 6, 2012, the Lynnwood City Council approved the contract that enabled staff to begin moving forward on the project. Shortly after the contract approval, a city Website Advisory Committee with representatives from each city department began working collaboratively on the new navigation structure and design of the website. Using the city's vision, analysis from the old website (see Top 25 Web Pages side bar), and the application of current government website best practices, the Website Advisory Committee implemented the following primary content areas: Things To Do, City Services, Government, Public Safety, and Choose Lynnwood

We appreciate your patience as we adjust and continue to migrate content from the old website to the new.

Please let us know if you have any questions or any specific feedback on the website. Use the Feedback link on the right side of the is page, or email the City Webmaster.
