LEAF School Hosts Earth Day Project at Gold Park

Join us on Friday, April 25 from 10am-2pm at Stolja Ali Ethnobotanical Garden in Gold Park for an Earth Day Project.

The Learn-and-Serve Environmental Anthropology (LEAF) school, Center for Service Learning, Snohomish Tribe, and City of Lynnwood have been partnering for years to restore Gold Park. Through the volunteer efforts of Edmonds Community College students, staff, faculty, and community members - over 5 tons of invasive species have been removed and over 160 native species have been planted. The Stolja Ali Ethnobotanical garden has been created within the park to showcase native plants and traditional uses. Lunch will be provided by Ivars.
