Lynnwood Brings Cops & Kids Together at 2nd Annual Event

Cops and Kids gathered at the Terraces at Alderwood Mall on Saturday, June 6 to interact in a fun and safe event. 

Lynnwood police showed up at the Alderwood Mall Terraces to conduct a huge “Show and Tell” event complete with K-9 demonstrations, photo ops on motorcycles and tours of specialty police vehicles. Many children had the chance to operate the SWAT team’s ICOR recon robot. Event organizer, Commander Wes Deppa said, “This fun event is a great way to connect with the community and let kids know that we are here to help.”

This event is sponsored by the Lynnwood Police Department, the Lynnwood Police Officer’s Association, Alderwood Mall, BECU, Molina Healthcare and Edmonds Family Medicine
