Lynnwood Place Ground Breaking

Costco Senior Vice President of Operations Ron Vachris, Lynnwood Mayor Nicola Smith, and Demonds School Disctrict Executive Director of Business and Operations Stewart Mhyre officially break ground at Lynnwood PlaceThe ground breaking for Lynnwood Place on July 2, 2014, began construction on a project that will provide significant benefits for Lynnwood. The Lynnwood Place project furthers the community's vision to encourage economic development by providing jobs, strengthening the city's retail prominence, and generating revenues to meet the needs of our community residents. In addition, funds generated by the project for the Edmonds School District will serve the students of our community by helping fund the District's capital facility needs into the future.

Lynnwood Place is located at 3001 184th St SW across from the Alderwood mall. This 40 acre site in Lynnwood’s Regional Growth Center will be developed in two-phases. Phase One, includes site improvements, a new road and a 150,000 square foot Costco Warehouse anticipated to open in late 2015. Phase Two will include mixed-use development with retail, entertainment and multi-family residential uses.
