LYNNWOOD, WA (April 15, 2019) -The Lynnwood Police Department just finished its 28th Citizens Academy with more than 45 graduates. The annual 14-week, free course familiarizes community members with common police procedures, activities and investigative techniques. Although this course will not make police officers out of the public, those who attend learn a great deal about all phases of law enforcement.
