Lynnwood Police Department Citizens Patrol Recruiting

The Lynnwood Police Department is now recruiting for membership to the Citizens Patrol volunteer group. This very active group engages civic minded citizens with the opportunity to serve and support their community by working alongside their police department employees.

Working in teams of two, Citizens Patrol members support the work of officers by directing traffic, opening locked vehicle doors, patrolling businesses and neighborhoods, assisting with vehicle battery jump starts, and much more!

Members are asked to sign up for two 4-hour evening shifts per month, and attend a monthly training meeting. Daytime and nighttime shifts on weekends are also available.
