Lynnwood is Blooming!

You may have noticed that Lynnwood looks a little brighter these days. That's because our Parks Department has reinstated the floral program with a total of 20 floral beds around city locations such as the city welcome signs, park entrances, and municipal buildings. These floral beds are a low-cost way to enhance civic pride, and create a vibrant and welcoming community. This year we are enlisting the help of volunteers. In partnership with local clubs and non-profit groups, the Parks Department has received 75 hours of volunteer time to plant these floral beds.
The City of Lynnwood would like to thank the many volunteers that have contributed their time to help Lynnwood be a place that we are proud to call home. Next time you are out and about, be sure to stop and smell the flowers.
