Month Long Clothing Drive Ends this Saturday Benefitting Clothes For Kids

Swing by the Lynnwood Recreation Center this Saturday, June 1 from 11am-4pm to drop off your new or gently used children's and teen's clothing donations.

Throughout the month of May, the City of Lynnwood, along with other community partners have hosted clothing donation bins. These donations benefit Clothes For Kids, a local non-profit that provides clothing for low income students in Snohomish County. Last school year, Clothes For Kids provided more than 4,100 wardrobes to deserving kids in our community, helping them attend school ready to learn.

Clothes For Kids will gladly accept new and gently used clothing sized 4T - Teen XL, especially winter coats, summer shorts, shirts, jackets and jeans. All underwear and socks distributed by Clothes For Kids are new. Tax receipts will be available during the drop-off event.

The City of Lynnwood and the Lynnwood Recreation Center are pleased to be partnering with Clothes For Kids to host this clothing drive and Stuff the Truck Event.
