About the Randy Terlicker Scholarship
The Randy Terlicker Memorial Aquatics and Life Safety Scholarship program was established by the City of Lynnwood in 1995. The scholarship is awarded to those desiring to improve themselves and their community through education and training in aquatics, life safety, and related areas of study.

Randy Terlicker was the Lynnwood Aquatics Supervisor from 1988 to 1990. In 1990, he became a Seattle Firefighter while continuing to teach Water Safety Instructor, CPR, and First Aid classes at the Recreation Center. Randy lost his life in the line-of-duty as a firefighter on January 5, 1995. This scholarship was established to commemorate Randy’s dedication to safety and his high standards of excellence.
