Water Main Repair Requires Road Closure on 212th St SW

Repair work on a recent water main break will require 212th Street SW, between 52nd Ave W and 61st Ave W to be closed to all through traffic on Wednesday, November 11. Starting at 6:00am, the City's contractor will isolate the damaged water main to prevent possible future breaks. Pavement damage and the condition of the existing pipes will be evaluated and assessed to determine the full scope of the project. This closure is anticipated to end at 7:00pm, however it is possible the closure could extend to Thursday. Detour routes have been established and the detour map is located on the project webpage and shown below. Local and emergency access will be accommodated throughout the road closure.
