What is going on at Highway 99 and 196th St SW?

Sterling Reality Organization (SRO) is well underway on construction of Lynnwood Crossroads Shopping Center, an approximately 123,000 square foot retail destination that offers recreation, dining, lifestyle and health care for all ages.

Historically, the intersection of Highway 99 and 196th Street SW was known as “Lynnwood Crossroads.” It was near this location that SRO originally built and operated a theater on the property called the Lynn Twin in the early 1960s. The Lynn Twin eventually expanded into four theaters and was renamed The Lynn 4 Theater. Over the years SRO purchased neighboring properties until approximately 12.5 acres were assembled. This is the location of the Lynnwood Crossroads Shopping Center.

Lynnwood Crossroads ProjectMost of the exterior work on the site is complete. The parking lots are stripped, and the plants are planted and growing. Work is continuing inside the premises, preparing for tenants to individualize their spaces. LA Fitness recently opened. Building 3 (Hop Jacks Restaurant) has begun construction. Watch as these buildings take shape, and our tenants open for business before the end of the year. Great Clips and Verizon will be opening in early November. Starbucks is preparing to be open by Thanksgiving. Five Guys and Qdoba plan to be open mid-December. Expect The Joint (chiropractor), Yogurtland, Pacific Dental, and Best Sushi to open over the next couple of months. Work will begin on Hop Jack’s in late October for an early spring opening.
