The benefits of water aerobics are endless. Not only is it a fun way to accomplish your workout, exercising in the water, unlike land aerobics, reduces the stress on the joints, especially ankles, knees and hips. You can look forward to receiving a whole body workout; improving your strength and cardiovascular endurance, as well as your flexibility and balance. We offer many kinds of classes to keep your workouts fresh and rewarding.
We believe that water can be the perfect environment to improve your physical condition. We strive to offer high-quality programs that meet the needs of the diverse communities we serve, through well trained and knowledgeable instructors who are enthusiastic and seek to improve your class experience. We want you to feel comfortable to learn about fitness, establish, follow through, and see your goals attained, while having fun and making social connections.

Our classes are designed for men and women of all ages and abilities. Whether you are new to exercise or a highly fit athlete, you can adapt our water fitness classes to meet your needs with four intensity levels to choose from.
- Level 1 ♥
Achieve control of the body through conscious, gentle movement and breath. These classes focus on stretching, joint health, range of motion, and balance.
- Level 2 ♥♥
Low to Moderate intensity
A great place to improve your health and wellness; specifically designed for those who are new or returning to fitness and looking to get in shape. Focus is on improving cardio endurance, muscle tone, balance, agility, and flexibility.
- Level 3 ♥♥♥
Moderate to High Intensity
Great all around workout for those wanting to maintain and improve their fitness ability, tone body, improve cardio endurance, increase aerobic activity, and continue to increase their flexibility and agility. Expect 25-30 minutes of cardio work.
- Level 4 ♥♥♥♥
High Intensity Explosive Power!
Designed to push yourself to the next level and see what you can accomplish. Show your body who’s boss! These classes focus on cardio endurance, strength training, agility, and increased flexibility. Expect 30-40 minutes of intense cardio, with very little rest time.
We offer many kinds of classes in different areas of the water. Each class is designed so your body gets the most out of every workout; incorporating warm up, cardio, muscle toning, and stretching components. All classes are taught with your personal safety in mind.
Depending on the intensity level you choose, the water temperatures range from 82 to 88 degrees. Higher intensity classes are placed in cooler water.
- Shallow Water Aerobics
Shallow water classes are performed in water ranging from belly button to armpit level of depth. These classes are held in the shallow end of the Lap pool or in the Recreation Pool. While training all the major muscle groups against the water’s resistance, you will receive a calorie-burning workout. No swimming experience required.

- Ai Chi
An offspring of Tai Chi combined with the water. Ai Chi is offered in the soothing medium of the warm water wellness pool. A safe effective program that anyone can follow. This program has been established to work on physical balance and psychological balance. Stress reducing gentle exercise class that increases flexibility, balance, and awareness of breath.
