Run, Hide, Fight - Surviving an Active Shooter Event

Across the nation, and here locally in Washington State, there is a growing concern related to extreme violence and active shooter incidents. The Lynnwood Police Department wants the public to know there are things that individuals can do prior to, and during an incident to maximize safety and chance of survivability.

The Lynnwood Police Department strongly urges all Lynnwood resident and visitors to watch the following video titled, Run, Hide, Fight, which was produced by the Department of Homeland Security and the Houston, Texas Police Department. 

 
The Lynnwood Police Department would like to remind the community that you don't have to be a victim, we want you to have a survivors mindset. Lastly, if you see something or have an instinctual feeling that something may affect you, or someone else's safety, please call 911.
