About Shannon Sessions
Shannon and her husband of 30 years have raised their five children in Lynnwood, all of whom attend and/or graduated from Lynnwood High School. Shannon is a graduate of Meadowdale HS, then served in the US Air Force as a Firefighter and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Washington. Shannon is the Executive Director of Support 7 (NPO), which assists first responders and victims of crisis 24/7 in South Snohomish County. In addition, Shannon has owned a small safety consulting business and served as the Lynnwood Police Department’s Public Information Officer and Crime Prevention Specialist for more than eight years. Prior to that she worked as an editor/writer for the then local Enterprise Newspapers.
