City of Lynnwood's Emergency Proclamations

On March 4, 2020, Mayor Nicola Smith signed an Emergency Proclamation due to the serious risk to public health that COVID-19 poses to our community. This emergency proclamation gives our city the ability to quickly respond to the rapidly changing situation and ensure the best possible outcomes for our community members and city employees.

On February 9, 2021, Mayor Nicola Smith signed an Emergency Proclamation to waive the reapplication provision of LMC 13.20.080A.4, in order that customers eligible for certain special utility rates during a previous year remain eligible while the State of Emergency so declared remains in effect.
