The City of Lynnwood understands the importance of supporting community events, festivals and celebrations that are open to all, build a sense of community and make Lynnwood a great place to live, work and play. That’s why we want to make it easier for you to host events in our community by providing support.

Overview

How can the City help?

  •  Assist in identifying and booking a city park or facility
  • Answer questions related to the City's special event requirements and processes
  • Promote your free community event through the City's communications channels
  • Coordinate participation of the City's Mayor, elected officials or staff at your event
  • Provide partial funding (if approved) through our Healthy Lynnwood Grant program

Complete an inquiry form letting us know about your event and find out if a Special Event Permit will be needed.

Having your event at a City park?

Tell us about your event and request to book a park shelter.


Pre-Application Instructions

Application must be submitted at least 21 business days prior to the event to allow adequate time for review.
