We have been made aware of scammers impersonating the City's Development and Business Services department. The scammers demanded payment via wire transfer and mimicked the verbiage from our website. Welcome to Lynnwood's Development and Business Services (DBS) Permit Center. DBS is responsible for the orderly growth and development of the community. DBS is comprised of four division including community planning, economic development, administration, permits, and inspections.
The DBS department is responsible for reviewing and issuing a wide variety of permits and land use applications, including residential and commercial building permits, electrical permits, boundary line adjustments, subdivisions, driveway aprons to right-of-way, clearing, grading, and others.
All aspects of the permit process can be tracked online! Visit the Online Permit Portal to apply, track, and view the status of your permit applications and inspections.
