How to Apply

An online job application must be submitted for you to be considered for an open position. The City does not accept emailed or paper applications or resumes. 

Follow the link below to view all current open positions. Please note, if none are listed, there are no openings at this time.  

If there are openings, you can apply by clicking on the job title you are interested in and click on "Apply" in the top right of the window. If this is the first time you have applied for a job with the City of Lynnwood, you will need to create an account with a Username and Password.

Lynnwood Police Careers

Prior to applying for Entry Police Officer or Custody Officer positions with the City of Lynnwood, applicants must first pass the appropriate written and physical abilities testing process with Public Safety Testing. Once an applicant has successfully passed the appropriate testing process with Public Safety Testing, their test scores will be forwarded to the City of Lynnwood and only those applicants will be eligible to apply for Entry Police Officer positions as they become available.
