Pilchuck Glass School Tour 😊😊😊
Pilchuck Glass School is the center of glass blowing culture and learning. Classes are taught by world-renowned artists with a focus on experimenting and team creation. The school opens their doors once a year during their annual Spring Tours — this is the only time when the public is welcome to visit the historic campus in Stanwood. You’ll learn about and watch the glass blowing process and get to talk with renowned glass artists at work. We’ll stop for a treat on the way home.

Underground Seattle Tour – Pioneer Square* 😊😊😊😊
Seattle’s most unusual attraction includes a humorous stroll through subterranean storefronts and sidewalks entombed when the city was rebuilt on top of itself after the Great Fire of 1889. This 75-minute guided walking tour begins beneath the Public House, then spills into historic Pioneer Square, before heading underground for a unique, time capsule view of the buried city. A mask for dusty air is suggested. Lunch on your own in the area before heading home. Note: The tour covers up to 4 city blocks, has 8 stairs = 158 steps, and rough, uneven walkways.

Our docent led tour of The Bellevue Botanical Gardens includes highlights of 53 acres of cultivated gardens, restored woodlands, and natural wetlands. The living collections showcase plants that thrive in the Pacific Northwest. Along the way, discover what makes our region unique, ideas for your own beautiful garden, and ways to be responsible stewards of the environment. Bring a sack lunch to enjoy in a nearby park.

Take a ride with Rydell High's senior class of 1959 as the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as Greased Lightnin' and It's Raining on Prom Night, recalling the influencing music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard, and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. We will stop for dinner on the way home.

South Lake Union Dragon Boat Festival & MOHAI* 😊😊-😊😊😊
Every year the Duanwu Dragon Boat Festival is held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar to celebrate the ancient poet Qu Yuan. This Chinese holiday is observed by holding dragon boat races, among other traditions. Don’t miss this opportunity to support these spectacular 12-meter-long boats, decorated to feature the head and tail of a dragon, battle it out on beautiful Lake Union. Festivities include cultural performers, ethnic food, and artisans. This trip includes entrance tickets to MOHAI, Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry, located just steps away from the outdoor festival.
