*Celebrating March as Procurement Month*

City of Lynnwood Mayor, Nicola Smith, has declared March as “Procurement Month”. To mark this occasion, the Mayor will present the City of Lynnwood Procurement Division with a proclamation on March 1.

The public procurement profession plays a significant role in the efficiency and effectiveness of both government and business, and the public procurement professional of the City of Lynnwood are committed to providing high-caliber, strategic, logistical, and operational support for all departments within the City. The purchasing professionals of the Procurement Division recognize, support and practice the Public Procurement Values and Guiding principles of Accountability, Ethics, Impartiality, Professionalism, Service, and Transparency established by NIGP – The Institute for Public Procurement, as fundamental tenets of the public procurement profession.

The City of Lynnwood is currently transitioning from a paper-based solicitation process to an online electronic solicitation and vendor registration system, hosted by ProcureNow.  Effective May 15, all new solicitations will now be available through ProcureNow, unless otherwise stated in the solicitation document. 

Our new e-Procurement Portal will allow interested parties to do the following:

  • Register to receive notifications of future opportunities by signing up for our new e-Procurement Portal and selecting Subscribe to create an account
  • Follow along with updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This will allow all interested parties to received amendments and addenda automatically.
  • Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations.
  • Guide vendors through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure your bids have been accurately completed.
  • Ultimately, be your one location for all bid opportunities issued by the City of Lynnwood.
  • Small Works Roster (construction, repair and maintenance under $350,000 - visit
  • Vendor Roster (materials, supplies, equipment) - visit
  • Consultant Roster (services, including architect and engineering) - visit
  • To register for City notifications of bid opportunities, please register with ProcureNow. You'll receive an email to activate your account, and then subscribe to our bids by navigating here and clicking the subscribe button.
