NOTICE OF DECISION

Proposal: Packard 2025 Variances

(VAR-25-0001, VAR-25-0002, VAR-25-0003)

Date of this Notice: June 18, 2025

Decision: On June 16, 2025, the City of Lynnwood’s Hearing Examiner issued a decision for the ‘Packard 2025 Variances’. The variance applications sought relief from the minimum lot width and front setback requirements of the Lynnwood Municipal Code. The decision granted approval for the variance from the requirement for minimum lot width. The proposed projects include construction of three new single-family houses (one on each lot listed below), grading, and associated utility work. The Hearing Examiner’s Decisions can be accessed online at www.lynnwoodwa.gov by searching “Public Land Use Notices”.

Appeal: Any person who participated in the decision may request reconsideration by the Hearing Examiner by filing a request in writing within 7 days of the effective date of the decision with the Development & Business Services Department which is June 23, 2025. Any person who participated in the decision may file an appeal of the Hearing Examiner’s Decision by filing the appeal to superior court pursuant to the Land Use Petition Act (Chapter 36.70C RCW) within 21 days from the date of issuance of the decision, which is July 09, 2025.
