Proposal: VSC Sign Re-Install (VAR-24-0004)
Date of this Notice: July 18, 2025
Decision: On July 15, 2025, the City of Lynnwood’s Hearing Examiner issued a decision for the ‘VSC Sign Re-Install Variance’. The variance application sought relief from LMC 21.60.475(A)(1) to allow installation of a replacement pole sign in the CC-C zone. The decision granted variances from any and all LMC sign regulations impeding erection of the proposed pole sign, subject to conditions. The Hearing Examiner’s Decisions can be accessed online at www.lynnwoodwa.gov by searching “Public Land Use Notices”.

Appeal: Any person who participated in the decision may request reconsideration by the Hearing Examiner by filing a request in writing within 7 days of the effective date of the decision with the Development & Business Services Department which is July 22, 2025. Any person who participated in the decision may file an appeal of the Hearing Examiner’s Decision by filing the appeal to superior court pursuant to the Land Use Petition Act (Chapter 36.70C RCW) within 21 days from the date of issuance of the decision, which is August 8, 2025.
