Annexation of New Middle School Site

Notice: The Lynnwood City Council will conduct a public hearing concerning annexation. Interested community members are invited to attend the public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.

Description: Edmonds School District (ESD) Board of Directors voted to petition the City of Lynnwood to annex the former Alderwood Middle School property located at 20000 28th Ave. W (Parcel No. 00372601101602) into the City of Lynnwood’s jurisdiction. The property is 19.76 acres and contiguous to the City of Lynnwood’s corporate limits. The property has been pre-zoned as Public-Institutional.

City Council Public Hearing –– September 8, 2025:

The City Council public hearing will be held in-person at City Hall (19100 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood, WA 98036) and virtually via Zoom at 6:00PM on September 8, 2025. Any interested party may give testimony.
