Notice of Public Briefing: Tax Increment Financing Program (TIF)
The City of Lynnwood will conduct public briefings regarding the proposed Tax Increment Financing (TIF) program to fund infrastructure improvements for the City Center area. The briefings will include a description of the increment area, the public improvements proposed to be financed with the allocated tax increment revenues, and an estimate of tax revenues for the participating local governments and taxing districts, including the amounts allocated to the proposed public improvements. Interested community members are invited to attend this public briefing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.
The first briefing will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, at 6pm. The second briefing will be held on Thursday, May 15th, at 6pm. The meetings will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 19100 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA, 98036. Written comments may be submitted to the contact person listed below at any time prior to City Council action (expected May 27, 2025).
