Apply to Serve on the Lynnwood City Council

Lynnwood City Council Position #1 is currently vacant, and the City Council is accepting applications from interested community members to fill this open position until the certification of the November 2025 election.

To be eligible to be appointed to the Lynnwood City Council from June 2024 until the November 2025 election is certified candidates:

  • Must have continuously resided within the Lynnwood City limits for a minimum of one year prior to your appointment to the council, and
  • Must be a registered voter in the city, 18 years of age or over. These are the same minimum state law requirements that apply to all elected Councilmembers.

Applications must be submitted and received online, or a paper copy to the Lynnwood City Hall no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024.
