The City of Lynnwood is investing in major upgrades to the Lynnwood Wastewater Treatment Plant to protect public health and the environment by effectively treating sewage before it returns to Puget Sound or is reused. The facility is more than 60 years old, well beyond the typical service life of a plant of this size. While the plant continues to function, the system needs comprehensive improvements.
