To simplify and streamline permitting, the City of Lynnwood is developing a pre-approved DADU construction plan program to offer a faster, easier and more predictable design and permitting process.
The submission window for consideration closed on July 2, 2026. Staff are reviewing submittals and will reach out to applicants once review is finished. Review our Submission Guide for information on submission requirements, process, and selection criteria. Please note that owners of plans selected for pre-approval will be required to sign a Memorandum of Agreement in order for their work to be featured as a pre-approved DADU plan set.
