Purpose

The youth council is an advisory commission of the City of Lynnwood to be composed of youth representatives whose duties shall be:
Interested individuals will need to complete an application form. Youth Council members must reside or go to school within the Edmonds School District boundary and be between 14-18 years old.
The Youth Council shall consist of 15 members. Members will be evaluated by a selection committee composed of the staff liaison to the Youth Council and the council liaison or alternate for recommendation to the council for final appointment to a specific position number on the Youth Council.
Members shall serve a term of two years, with the opportunity for reappointment.

The Youth Council will meet up to 2 times a month from 6-8 pm. All meetings are open to the public.
