Lynnwood Rental Relief Grants Now Available
CARES Act Funding Available for Lynnwood residents struggling to pay rent or mortgage payments
Please note: This program is now closed.
On Monday, June 8, 2020, the Lynnwood City Council unanimously approved the allocation of $200,000 of the City's federal CARES Act funding to be put towards a community relief program to provide rental or mortgage assistance to Lynnwood residents negatively impacted by COVID-19.
The City of Lynnwood is partnering with the Communities of Color Coalition (C3) to help administer these rent relief grants to our community members in need.
"Housing has been an ongoing area of focus for the City Council and our City Administration," stated Mayor Nicola Smith. "We wanted our relief efforts to be focused on keeping individuals and families in their homes during these difficult times."
"Communities of Color Coalition (C3) is proud to partner with the City of Lynnwood," stated C3 Executive Director Jacque Julien. "We are happy for the opportunity to be in service and support to our communities that have been deeply impacted by COVID-19. We are an equity-based community organization that recognizes, housing security as a public health concern."
