Want to make a difference in your community? Have you considered becoming a volunteer? The City of Lynnwood has several Boards and Commissions that serve as advisory bodies and provide advice and recommendations to the city, the Mayor and the City Council. No experience is necessary, just a strong desire to make a difference in your community!
The Planning Commission is an advisory body appointed by the City Council. The Commission is responsible for making decisions on issues relating to development and land use within the City of Lynnwood.
Interested individuals will need to complete an application form and attend an upcoming Commission meeting. Commissioners serve 4-year terms, must live within Lynnwood's city limits, and be a registered voter. For more information on the application process or to fill out an application form, visit our Boards & Commissions webpage.
