Adult City League is back! After several years, the City of Lynnwood is once again hosting adult softball leagues at Meadowdale Athletic Complex.  The Adult City League will be offered in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

 

Adult City League Softball 

Tuesday – Men's Lower 
Wednesday – Women's and Men’s Beginner 
Thursday – Men’s Upper and Men's Lower
Friday - Coed

Registration opens Monday, April 28th 

Summer Season will run June 24th - August 15th

Step 3.Do you have an account in Perfect Mind?

Perfect Mind/XPLOR Rec is our registration system.  Once you set up your account, you will be able to register and pay for leagues and classes online. To set up your account, click here.

Step 4.Register for Softball

To register as a manager, click here.  (You will not be able to see softball information through these links until registration officially opens)

  • You will see a list of Softball Leagues (Men's Lower, Women's, etc).
  • To select a league, click "Book"
  • Read through the overview page, click "Book" again.
  • Select the name of the person (This should be the manager's name) you are registering for the league and click "next".
  • Look over the "fees and extras" page and click "next".
  • To complete your transaction, click "Checkout" to move to the payment page

Step 5.Next Step... IM Leagues

  • IM Leagues will be replacing League Lineup for creating and submitting your team's roster, seeing game schedules, reporting scores and seeing standings.
  • Managers will be expected to enter their team information (including roster) on IM Leagues.
  • Players on a team will have to sign up on IM Leagues after receiving an invitation from their team's manager.

What is IM Leagues?  

IM Leagues is a sport scheduling software used by recreation departments across the country and many colleges and universities. IM Leagues will allow managers to input scores after the game, allow managers to submit game cancellation requests, allow teams to see their standings compared to the whole league, and give free agents the opportunity to request to join teams directly.  

Do I have to pay for IM Leagues? 

  • IM Leagues is a completely free website and also has a free app that participants can download.  
  • If the ads are a nuisance, participants can pay a $4 fee to IM Leagues to go ad-free.  
 

How Do I create/join my team?

Create 
  • Log in to your IMLeagues.com account  
  • Click on to “City of Lynnwood” link to go to the homepage 
  • Click on the League you wish to play in and then the division (ex. Men’s Lower –> Men’s Lower - Tuesdays) 
  • Click on “Create Team”  
    • Enter your team’s name  
    • Auto-Accept Members: if you want to allow free agents to be able to join your team automatically change this to say “yes”  
    • Looking for Free Agents: if you’re okay with free agents requesting to join your team change this to say “yes”  
  • Invite Members to your team  
    • Can be found by either clicking on the “Roster” tab or under the “Captain” tab  
Join 
  • If your team manager has already invited you 
    • Click the “accept invitation/join team” link in the email sent to you by IM Leagues  
  • If your team manager hasn’t already invited you  
    • Sign in/up for IM Leagues THEN: 
    • Find the team and captain name on the division page and request to join OR: 
    • Go to your manager’s playercard page, view the team, and request to join OR: 
    • Use the Player Sign-up drop-down menu at the top right of every page and click “join team” - find the team you wish to join and click on the “join team” button  

 

 

Don't have a team? No Problem, here's how the free agent system works with IM Leagues.

How to register as a free agent
  1. Go to IMLeagues.com
  2. Create an account
  3. Select the league you want to join (ex. Men's Lower - Tuesdays)
  4. Click "Join as Free Agent"
  5. Post a listing
What Happens after registering as a free agent?
  • Teams can request to add you to their team
  • You can request to join teams
  • If there are enough free agents, the Athletic Coordinator will form a team
What else to know about free agents?
  • You can list yourself as a free agent in as many leagues as you want
  • You can create a bio about yourself

League Format

  • 5 Double Headers – 10 games
  • USSSA Rules and Umpires
  • The top four teams of each division will move on to the playoffs
  • The team that wins the championship will receive t-shirts
  • Game Times: 6:10pm, 7:15pm, 8:20pm, and 9:25pm
