Each week at TACO (Teen Adventure Camp Outdoors) is filled with field trips that are action–packed, fun–filled adventures that provide your teen with a safe and healthy environment to play outside and make new friends while creating lasting memories. The main activities are highlighted for each trip however we include many more fun activities and exciting destinations in each day of camp. Don’t let your teen sit at home when school is out!

Camp Rates: $288/ $230

2026 Summer Camp Registration Information

  • For Lynnwood Residents: Registration opens on Friday, March 6th at 5:30 am and runs until 8:59 am.
  • For Non-Residents: Registration begins on Friday, March 6th at 9:00 am.

Online

Step 1.Does your child qualify?

TACO is for students that will be enrolled in 7th grade through 10th grade during the 2026/2027 school year, regardless of age.

Step 2.Determine your option for payment

You have two options for payment, "Pay In Full" or "Payment Plan".  You can read more about these two options on the right column of this page.

By registering online, you are agreeing to the "Pay in Full" option. If you would like to use the "Payment Plan", please see tabs for registering "In Person" or "On Phone".

Step 3.Determine your weeks

We offer 8 weeks of summer camp, with each week having different activities. You may want to base your selection on the field trips your child is interested in or based on when you need your teen to be busy and tired after a long day of fun! Plan ahead as these spots fill quickly.

Step 4.Do you have an account in Perfect Mind?

Perfect Mind is our registration system. Once you set up your account, you will be able to register and pay for classes online. To set up your account, click here.

Step 5.Register for camp 

Registration begins:

  • Lynnwood Residents: Special Registration begins on March 6th at 5:30am and runs until 8:59am.
  • Non Residents: Registration begins on March 6th at 9:00am.

  • You will see a list of TACO sessions.
  • To select a week, click "Book"
  • Read through the overview page, click "Book" again.
  • Select the names of those you are registering for the week and click "next".
  • Look over the "fees and extras" page and click "next".
  • To complete your transaction, click "Checkout" to move to the payment page, or...
  • To add another week, click "Book another event" (You will now see the main "Select an Activity" page, click "Camps" under the Teen section and you will be back to the list of camp sessions.)

 

Step 6.Didn't get in?

Be sure to get on the waitlist by clicking "waitlist" on the registration page! We experience a lot of changes to our rosters as we get closer to summer. You will be called if a spot opens up for you.

Visit the Lynnwood Recreation Center during normal working hours, to talk to a Customer Service representative to register for the weeks you are interested in.
