NOTICE OF APPLICATION

GARNEAU ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT (ADU)

(File No. ADU-010027-2022)

Application and Project Description: On September 22, 2022, an application for an attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) was submitted to City of Lynnwood to incorporate an 800 square foot ADU within a proposed single-family residential dwelling. The property is zoned Residential Single Family (RS-8), and the application has been deemed complete as of August 14, 2023.

Location: 5732 Halls Lake Way; (Parcel No. 27042100310200)

Approval Required: This proposal requires approval of an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) land use permit in accordance with LMC 21.42.110(G). The proposal will be reviewed for compliance with City of Lynnwood and Washington State requirements for accessory dwelling unit applications. The Development & Business Services Director will then make a determination to grant or deny ADU approval. The Director’s decision will be publicly noticed by posting on the project site and in the Everett Herald newspaper. No public hearing will be held unless the Director’s decision is appealed. This project required associated building and development permits.

Other Permits Required: Additional permits, including but not limited to building and electrical permits, will also be needed by the applicant.
