Application and Project Description:
On March 21, 2023, SCAN Design on behalf of Countryside Apartments LLC, submitted an application to rezone (reclassify) the northern portion of an approximately 3.02 acre property from the Multiple Residential Medium Density (RMM) to the Alderwood-City Center Transition area (ACCT) zone. The southern portion of the site is zoned City Center North (CCN) and no change is proposed to this zoning. The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use designation for the northern portion of the property is Alderwood-City Center Transition Area (ACCTA). The site is currently split zoned and proposes to remain split zoned as described above. Application was deemed complete on April 18, 2023.

Approval Required:
Site Specific Rezone: This is a site-specific rezone subject to Chapter of the Lynnwood Municipal Code (LMC). The application will follow Process I. A decision will be made by the hearing examiner following a public hearing.
Other Permits Required:
The applicant intends only to rezone the property. No changes will be made to any existing on-site structures. No additional permits have been submitted at this time.
