NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND IMPENDING DECISION

Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) Proposal

(CPL-010092-2023 RZN-010060-2023 ERC-010091-2023)

Application and Project Description: On March 29, 2023, Duane Leonard on behalf of Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) applied for a Comprehensive Plan amendment and concurrent rezone, with associated SEPA environmental review. On June 26, 2023, City Council motioned to include the above project in the 2023 Proposed Amendment List (PAL). The request is to revise the future land use designation for 5710 & 5714 200th St SW from Medium-density Multi-family (MF-2) to High-density Multi-family (MF-3) and concurrently rezone from Medium-density Multi-family (RMM) to High-density Multi-family (RMH). City Council will decide to approve or deny the application in Fall/Winter 2023 following a public hearing. A notice for the public hearing will be posted twenty (20) days prior to the hearing.

Location: 5710 & 5714 200th St SW (Parcel numbers: 00565300001501, 00565300001502, 00565300001505))

Approvals Required: Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Rezone, and SEPA determination.

Other Permits Required: Additional permits, including but not limited to land use project design review permits, grading, building, mechanical, and electrical permits, will also be needed by the applicant if approved.

Comments concerning this project should be made in writing and delivered to the City of Lynnwood Development and Business Services Department office. Comments must be received by Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Only those persons who provide written comments in accordance with Chapter LMC 1.35 may appeal the decision.
