Project Description: The City of Lynnwood is required to periodically update its comprehensive plan and development regulations (RCW 36.70A.130). The last major update the City completed was in 2015, with minor amendments occurring annually. Final decision on the proposed 2023 Comprehensive Plan Amendment will be made by the City Council.
1. HASCO-Future Land Use (FLU) Map Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Concurrent Rezone (CPL-010092-2023 RZN-010060-2023 ERC-010091-2023): Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) submitted an application to revise the future land use designation for 5710 & 5714 200th St SW, owned by HASCO, from Medium-density Multi-family (MF-2) to High-density Multi-family (MF-3) and a concurrent rezone from Medium-density Multi-family (RMM) to High-density Multi-family (RMH).
A City Council work session briefing regarding the 2023 Comprehensive Plan Amendment List will be held November 6, 2023.
The Lynnwood City Council will conduct a public hearing on November 13, 2023. At the time and place stated above, all interested parties will be heard. All interested persons are invited to offer any comments they may have regarding the proposal. No new materials, testimony, or statements shall be considered by the City Council after the date of this public hearing.
Additional Information: The City Council agenda will be posted on the City’s website before the meeting. There are occasions when meetings may be postponed or items removed from an agenda. It is therefore advised that you confirm that the meeting is going to be held and that this item is on the agenda. Upon reasonable notice to the City Clerk’s Office (425-670-5161), the City will make reasonable effort to accommodate those who need special assistance to attend the City Council meeting.
