Effective April 1, 2026 the City of Lynnwood Sales Tax rate is 10.7%. From the dollar bill graphic below, you will see that 10.3 cents of every dollar goes to the City of Lynnwood to fund your city services such as police, streets, parks and recreation, etc. Additionally, the Transportation Benefit District of the City of Lynnwood receives 0.9 cents of every dollar, which was approved by Lynnwood voters in 2016. This portion of sales tax goes to fund transportation projects such as paving, chip sealing, sidewalks, traffic enhancements, and other capital projects.
