Fleet Maintenance is a division of Public Works that supports the other divisions by maintaining and repairing their vehicles so they can provide services to the residences of the City of Lynnwood. Our maintenance facility also services South County Fire by maintaining and repairing their fleet of fire apparatus equipment.
The mission of the City of Lynnwood Safety is to develop and promote a healthy and safe environment for all employees and visitors to our facilities through the involvement of all individuals with regards to education, communication and safe work practices.
The Building and Property team is responsible for maintenance of city facilities and creating great working environments and representation to the public. We provide technical expertise, project management, and preventive and ongoing maintenance services. Our staff maintain and repair electrical, plumbing and HVAC, as well as respond to daily requests. We maintain janitorial services ensuring the city of the highest quality of care. These wide variety of services reduce costs, meets local and state standards, and assist each department in accomplishing its mission in an effective and efficient manner.
