NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

City of Lynnwood Code Amendment: 2025 City of Lynnwood Comprehensive Plan Proposed Amendment List (PAL)

Date of this Notice: September 18, 2025

The Lynnwood City Council and Planning Commission will conduct individual public hearings on the below-referenced project. Interested community members are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.

Project Description: The 2025 Comprehensive Plan Proposed Amendment List (PAL) is commonly referred to as the docket. The 2025 PAL contains two amendments for consideration by the Planning Commission, with final decision on the amendments to be made by the City Council.

1. CPL 2025 Miscellaneous Amendments: Current identified changes include minor text changes, references to the City Center + Alderwood Subarea Plan, references to the Unified Development Code, updates to the Appendix, an update of the annual demographics cutsheet, and updates to maps to incorporate the annexation of the Old Alderwood Middle School property; and

2. Annual Updates to Capital Facilities Plan (CFP) and Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): The draft 2027-2032 CFP/TIP includes revisions to the narrative, project list, project descriptions, and project costs.

Planning Commission Public Hearing –– October 9, 2025: 

The Planning Commission public hearing will be held in-person at City Hall (19100 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood, WA 98036) and virtually via Zoom at 6:30PM on October 9, 2025. Any interested party may give testimony.  

City Council Public Hearing –– November 10, 2025: 

The City Council public hearing will be held in-person at City Hall (19100 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood, WA 98036) and virtually via Zoom at 6:00PM on November 10, 2025. Any interested party may give testimony.
