City of Lynnwood Code Amendment: Cannabis Retail Sales (CAM-25-0004)
The City of Lynnwood Planning Commission and City Council will conduct individual public hearings on the below-referenced project. Interested community members are invited to attend these public hearings and provide comments, either orally or in writing.
Description: Amend the Lynnwood Municipal Code (LMC) Chapter 8.35 Use Regulations to adopt retail cannabis regulations.
Location: Citywide, non-project action.
Planning Commission Public Hearing –– August 14, 2025:
The Planning Commission public hearing will be held in-person at City Hall (19100 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood, WA 98036) and virtually via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. on August 14, 2025. Any interested party may give testimony.
City Council Public Hearing –– September 8, 2025:
The City Council public hearing will be held in-person at City Hall (19100 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood, WA 98036) and virtually via Zoom at 6:00 p.m. on September 8, 2025. Any interested party may give testimony.

Proposal: Vet Sign Re-Install Variance (VAR-24-0004)
Notice: The City of Lynnwood’s Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing on July 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at which the project(s) described below will be considered. Interested community members are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.
Description: On November 13, 2024, Taylor Nordby, on behalf of Frasier Properties, submitted an application for a proposed sign. On April 7, 2025, Staff determined that the applications were complete after the submission of additional materials. The project requires approval of a Variance by the Lynnwood Hearing Examiner from sign code LMC 21.60.475(A)(1). The application is subject to Process I of Chapter 1.35 LMC. A decision will be made by the Hearing Examiner following a public hearing.

Notice: The City of Lynnwood’s Hearing Examiner will conduct a public hearing on June 11, 2025, beginning 9:30 AM with a rolling docket, at which the project described below will be considered. Interested community members are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.
Description: On March 17, 2025, Edmonds School District submitted an application for the placement of a 1,001 sq. ft. modular medical structure at Meadowdale High School. The proposed medical structure will be located in the northeast portion of the subject site, just north of the existing portable classrooms. The purpose of the medical facility is to expand the school-based health program that aims to increase access to preventative, early intervention, and behavioral health services by school affiliated behavioral health providers for enrolled public-school students. The application is subject to Process I of Chapter 1.35 LMC. A decision will be made by the Hearing Examiner following a public hearing.
