2023 City of Lynnwood Comprehensive Plan

Proposed Amendment List (PAL)

The Lynnwood Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at which the below-referenced project will be considered. Interested community members are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing.

Project Description:

The 2023 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Proposed Amendment List (PAL) is commonly referred to as the docket. The 2031 PAL contains one proposal for consideration by the Planning Commission. Final decisions on the proposed amendments will be made by the City Council.

1. HASCO-Future Land Use (FLU) Map Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Concurrent Rezone (RZN-010060-2023): Housing Authority of Snohomish County (HASCO) submitted an application to revise the future land use designation for 5710 & 5714 200th St SW, owned by HASCO, from Medium-density Multi-family (MF-2) to High-density Multi-family (MF-3) and a concurrent rezone from Medium-density Multi-family (RMM) to High-density Multi-family (RMH).

A Planning Commission work session briefing regarding the 2023 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Proposed Amendment List will be held May 11, 2023.

The Lynnwood Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on May 25, 2023. At the time and place stated above, all interested parties will be heard. All interested persons are invited to offer any comments they may have regarding the proposal. No new materials, testimony, or statements shall be considered by the Planning Commission after the date of this public hearing.

The Planning Commission agenda will be posted on the City’s website before the meeting. There are occasions when meetings may be postponed or items removed from an agenda. It is therefore advised that you confirm that the meeting is going to be held and that this item is on the agenda. Upon reasonable notice to the City Clerk’s Office (425-670-5161), the City will make reasonable effort to accommodate those who need special assistance to attend the Planning Commission meeting.
