The North Sound Metro SWAT Team responds to high-risk incidents that require specialized training and equipment and attempt to resolve potentially dangerous situations without injury or loss of life to officers, suspects, or non-involved members of the community.
The North Sound Metro SWAT Team is a multi-jurisdictional unit comprised of officers from Lynnwood, Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Bothell, Lake Forest Park, Kirkland, Redmond, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, and Monroe. Command of the team is currently shared between Bothell and Kirkland Police Departments.
