Police Community Academy

Community Academy CST 2019.jpg

Our upcoming 2022 Community Academy will begin on January 27, 2022 and will be a FREE seven-week virtual course held on every Thursday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.

The Lynnwood Police Department created the Community Academy in 1995 to engage the public in discussions about the workings of their police department and expand conversations about law enforcement.  Better informed community members can contribute to a safer community.  Although the Community Academy is not intended to make police officers out of the public, those who attend will learn a great deal more about the Lynnwood Police Department.
