The City of Lynnwood has approximately 95 miles of roadways. Preservation of existing roads and street system has become one of the City’s priorities.
When selecting streets each year to be paved, the following criteria are considered:
The City has hired a Pavement Management Survey firm to re-evaluate the paving during the summer of 2026.

5 year paving program to balance preservation with replacement of the City streets.
The 2025 project activities include full depth repair and grind and overlay of pavement in selected areas.The 2025 project includes two segments: Alderwood Mall Parkway – from Alderwood Mall Boulevard to 184th St SW & 33rd Ave W – from upcoming Poplar Bridge project to 184th St SW
2026 Paving and Meadowdale ADA project has multiple locations of paving and pedestrian improvements.
